Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the BASSIQ iOS app, website, tournaments, player profiles, chat, purchases, and related services. By using BASSIQ, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, do not use BASSIQ.

2. App Store License

BASSIQ is distributed through the Apple App Store. Unless we provide a separate custom end user license agreement, your license to the app is governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA). These Terms apply to BASSIQ services, content, community features, purchases, and conduct in addition to the Standard EULA.

3. Accounts

• You are responsible for the activity on your account.
• You must provide accurate information and keep your account secure.
• You may not impersonate another person, misrepresent your affiliation, or use another user's account.
• We may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, community rules, law, or App Store safety requirements.

4. Community Rules

BASSIQ includes user-generated content such as profiles, chat messages, player room messages, reactions, and social links. You are responsible for content you post.

You may not post, upload, share, or encourage:

• Harassment, bullying, threats, hate speech, or abusive conduct.
• Sexual, pornographic, exploitative, or otherwise objectionable content.
• Illegal activity, instructions for harm, fraud, scams, phishing, or spam.
• Content that infringes intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
• Personal information about another person without permission.
• Attempts to evade moderation, chat bans, player mutes, filters, or safety controls.

Player room chat is intended for named, profile-based fishing trivia community discussion. It is not intended for anonymous, random, or unrestricted stranger chat.

5. Reporting, Muting, and Moderation

You can report offensive chat messages, player room messages, profiles, or abusive users in the BASSIQ app by using the available report actions. You can also mute players in the app to hide their chat messages from your view.

You can contact us through Support to report offensive content, abusive users, safety concerns, or account issues. In-app report tools are preferred for the fastest routing because they include message or profile context for moderation review.

We may remove content, hide content, restrict posting, ban users from chat, suspend accounts, ban accounts, preserve reports or evidence, and cooperate with lawful requests. We aim to review safety reports promptly, but response time may vary based on severity and volume.

6. Tournaments, Scores, and Leaderboards

BASSIQ tournaments and scoring are provided for entertainment and competition. We may adjust, remove, or invalidate scores, tournament entries, rewards, or leaderboard positions if we detect cheating, fraud, technical errors, abuse, or rule violations.

Questions, scoring systems, rankings, and tournament availability may change over time. We do not guarantee any particular score, ranking, reward, or tournament availability.

7. Purchases and Virtual Items

BASSIQ may offer in-app purchases through Apple StoreKit, including consumable credits or other digital items. Purchases are processed by Apple and subject to Apple's payment terms. We do not receive your payment card details.

• Consumable items are not cash, stored value, or property, and cannot be redeemed for money.
• Digital items may be used only inside BASSIQ as described in the app.
• Refund requests for App Store purchases are handled by Apple through reportaproblem.apple.com.
• If a purchase is refunded, revoked, fraudulent, or invalid, we may remove related credits or benefits where permitted.

If subscriptions are added in the future, subscription price, duration, renewal, cancellation, and access terms will be disclosed before purchase and in App Store Connect.

8. Intellectual Property

BASSIQ, including the app, website, design, software, trademarks, questions, scoring systems, and related content, is owned by STIX FISHING GEAR LLC or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell, or misuse BASSIQ except as allowed by law and the App Store license.

You retain rights to content you submit, but you grant us a license to host, display, process, moderate, and use that content as needed to operate BASSIQ, provide safety features, and improve the service.

9. Privacy

Our collection and use of information is described in the Privacy Policy. Your privacy choices and data request options are described at Privacy Choices.

10. Disclaimers

BASSIQ is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, specific tournament outcomes, score accuracy in every circumstance, or availability of any feature. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, STIX FISHING GEAR LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, loss of goodwill, or service interruption arising from your use of BASSIQ.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice through the app, website, or another reasonable method. Continued use of BASSIQ after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
