BASSIQ may appear in App Store records as BASSCAST. Both names refer to the same iOS app operated by STIX FISHING GEAR LLC.
This Privacy Policy explains how STIX FISHING GEAR LLC ("BASSIQ," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, retains, and deletes information when you use the BASSIQ iOS app, website, player profiles, tournaments, StoreKit purchases, notifications, and chat features.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use personal information for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking. We use information to operate BASSIQ, keep the community safe, process App Store purchases, provide support, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
We share information only as needed to operate BASSIQ, comply with law, protect users, or complete transactions. We require service providers to protect information consistently with this policy and applicable law.
We do not share personal information with data brokers, and we do not use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
BASSIQ includes player profiles, global chat, player room chat, reactions, and other community features. Content you post may be visible to other users. We may remove content, restrict posting, ban users from chat, suspend accounts, or ban accounts that violate our Terms, community rules, law, or App Store safety requirements.
Reports and moderation records may be retained to investigate abuse, prevent repeated violations, respond to App Store or legal inquiries, and protect the community.
You can initiate account deletion in the BASSIQ app from Settings. You may also contact us through Support or Privacy Choices.
Important: Deleting your account removes the account record and personal profile data we are not required or permitted to retain. Some records may be retained or anonymized when needed for legal compliance, purchase records, fraud prevention, safety moderation, dispute handling, tournament integrity, leaderboard history, backups, or security logs.
Examples of information we delete include profile records, handles, private settings, device tokens, profile photo storage, player mute records, and account authentication records. Examples of information we may retain or anonymize include purchase audit records, moderation reports, safety enforcement records, tournament history, chat records needed for safety or integrity, and backup or log data retained for a limited period.
If you use Sign in with Apple, deletion includes revoking the app's access to your Apple ID relationship where required by Apple. If you have App Store purchases, deleting your BASSIQ account does not automatically cancel Apple-managed purchases or issue refunds. You can manage App Store purchases through your Apple ID settings or reportaproblem.apple.com.
Our App Store privacy disclosures should reflect the data categories described in this policy, including contact information, identifiers, user content, purchase history, usage data, diagnostics, and other data used for app functionality, analytics if enabled, fraud prevention, and safety. If our practices change, we will update this policy and App Store Connect disclosures.
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. Network traffic uses encrypted transport. Access to production data is limited to authorized personnel and service providers with a legitimate need. No system is completely secure, and we will respond to security incidents as required by applicable law.
BASSIQ is not directed to children under 13 and is not intended for Apple's Kids Category. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and delete the information where appropriate.
BASSIQ is operated from the United States. Information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, or withdrawal of consent. We honor applicable privacy rights for all users where reasonably possible. To exercise these rights, visit Privacy Choices or email support@stix.us.com.
